Today we look at the overall scope before drilling down into the specific areas of the home, let’s begin!
The 2 places that we will spend most of our time at home are the Living Room & Bedrooms, therefore it is vital to plan these areas well. We want to ensure that they are both aesthetically pleasing, comfortable and practical for the ease of day-to-day living.
Generally, there are 4 key types of work to think about during your planning, do take note of these as we’ll be discussing them in greater detail over the coming weeks – Hacking, Flooring, Carpentry, Ceiling & Partition Works.
The Kitchen & Bathrooms, while we may not spend a significant proportion of time there as compared to the 2 areas above, are vital in ensuring the well being of our families. Therefore, in addition to the 4 key works above, we must consider Plumbing Works when we are to renovate our Kitchen & Bathrooms.
Finally, Electrical, Painting, Window, Doors & Grilles Works are required throughout most houses house so spare a thought for them to prevent any last minute surprises.
